After visiting KL tower, the petronas towers seemed the logical next place to go in KL. Having got out of bed surprisingly late (about 12.00!), we made our way to Malaysia's most recognisable landmark. After finally finding where to acquire a ticket for a tour and a look down from the bridge that joins the towers, we were told that the tickets were issued at 8.30 am and you had to queue to get them from 8 am. We had missed out by a fair few hours! So we just had a look around the ground floor bit and watched a recorded presentation with many facts and figures regarding them.

Later, we visited the Batu caves and took many pictures of weird & wonderful creatures and the beautiful caves themselves.

In the evening, it was off to little India for a meal (the 'special' ingredient in the orange made it taste a bit weird) followed by Buket Bintang for a few drinks, where, judging by the posters attached to lampposts, Placebo were playing. Even though, as P suggested, the venue seemed small (but packed) for the size of band they are. Maybe they're not so big in Malaysia.
