Cameron Highlands - Tanah Rata

semi-overcast 17 °C

Day 2 and we booked ourselves onto a day long tour. It was pretty good, with long walks through the forest with a dip in a lovely waterfall on the way back. We saw the biggest flower in the world. Not the actual biggest, but the biggest species. Then we visited the very famous BOH tea plantation, set high in the surrounding fields of tea leaves. This was followed by a look around a strawberry farm (great milkshakes) and lastly a butterfly farm/zoo, where we all held some pretty weird creatures!

Nighttime was quiet, no alcohol tonight for me but J and P had a few each in the jungle bar. Got chatting to a couple of travellers from London who were also on the tour, albeit a different bus to us.
